One of the great day in Islam that Muslim celebrate every year is Eid Al- Adha. Eid Al- Adha or we can call it with Sacrifice feast is a religious holiday that lasts four days and takes place about seventy days after the end of Ramadhan. During these festivities, animals are sacrificed, food and money are donated to the poor and people take time out to celebrate it with some ways in this national holiday.

For this special day of Eid Al-Adha, there are always several activities that my family do during that glorious moment this year. It started with Eid Al-Adha prayer, we gathered in a mosque at 6 PM. In this prayer, we were not only doing shalat, but also heard the speech from Imam before started to pray. Next, after shalat we went home and during the trip, we use that time to meet people around. Usually it becomes moment for saying the greetings in this glorious day and also asking forgiveness for every mistakes. After that, when we reached home it was time for my family to gather and eat together for breakfast time. There is also special food at that day, such as “Ketupat” and “Opor Ayam” that my mom cooked for us. Then, after we had special breakfast, usually me, my sister and my friends go to a field to see the sacrificed of Animals. We helped our neighbor to slice the beef and distribute it. it really builds our togetherness. Finally, every Eid Al-Adha night is the most important one for us to read Quran together. Usually, it starts after Maghrib until Isya prayer. Oh ya, as usual my father always use this moment to tell us again about the Prophet Abraham's story to make us always be grateful and more be grateful. Finally, that all activities that my family did during Eid Al-Adha this year which spent with lot of nice activities.
